Kirchheimbolanden Castle is located in the northern part of the city of the same name. As early as 1390, a castle was first mentioned in a document on the site of today's castle. The former castle has been used as a senior citizens' residence since 2003. The building restores the original layout of the 18th century with its central wing, side wing and inner courtyard. However, only the east wing retained its external shape.
