The Old Town Hall is the oldest Renaissance building in the center of the Czech city. On the pillar at the north corner is a copy of the statue of Roland. An iron cubit is fastened to the lower part of the pillar, an old measure of length. Buyers who bought fabrics on the marketplace could measure them right away.

There was a pillory on the middle pillar until 1726. The exhibition of the local history museum is housed in the building.

The listed building of the old town hall. The original town hall, which was built on the foundations of two Gothic houses, was built in the 14th century. The house acquired its Renaissance form during extensive repairs in the first half of the 16th century.

The old town hall building in Litoměřice is the oldest Renaissance building in the city. It is located on the eastern side of Mírové náměstí. The town hall was built in the third quarter of the 14th century using two older Gothic houses from the 13th century. The representative Renaissance building was built after the city fire in 1537-39 by master mason Pavel and carpenter Jiří. In 1662, the town hall was destroyed by fire, its roofs were lowered, but the turret on the middle ridge was restored.

The town hall was abandoned in 1839 due to its poor condition and remained empty for twelve years. In 1852-1853, the city proceeded with a thorough renovation by architect Jan Kranner, and the building was used for the needs of the district court. In 1916, part of the western front collapsed and the town hall was reconstructed again. Today, the building houses an exhibition of the Regional Museum (closed until 2026 due to general reconstruction).
