From Willingen, the route goes up to the 804-meter-high Hoher Eimberg. This is where the northwestern Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg and the southwestern Westphalian district of Hochsauerland meet. The view is definitely worth the climb. The great ridge trail starts from the summit in the direction of Diemelsee.
