Until the 17th century, the property was owned by the wealthy Köblin family, who bore the nickname "Schörrich." Only by these nicknames could one distinguish the many Köblin families in the village. During the Napoleonic era, the cooper Georg Friedrich Bühl ran a brandy tavern on the first floor, which was well-known and highly regarded throughout the region.
