Hiking Highlight
With a height of 1,748 meters, the Hochgern is an ingenious panoramic peak on the edge of the Chiemgau Alps. You can climb it on easy paths and let yourself be pampered on one of the alpine pastures as a reward.
The Chiemsee is almost at your feet on the summit of the Hochgern. When the weather is good, the view is fantastic - whether over the flat land or in the surrounding mountain ranges such as the Kaiser Mountains.

The way to the summit is definitely worth it. A little more comfortable from the Hochgern-Haus and those who like it strenuous can approach from the Staudacher-Alm. Anyway - a dreamy spot

The Hochgern is one of the most beautiful peaks in the Chiemgau Alps. The ascent there is not easy, as it is relatively long. The reward: an incredible 360-degree view.
