The tour can be reached by train from Wertheim. However, this only runs every 2 hours. The first three weirs are relatively easy and well signposted. There was little evidence of the fourth. It is best to get off directly at the weir and then carry it past it on the left. Do not get off at the stop sign on the fifth. It's slippery there and not comfortable. A little further is a better exit (right) with a sign. Follow the path until there are stairs on the left. If you get back in too early, you have to get out again shortly afterwards, as a stone terrace is in the way. In Wertheim you can get off the weir to the left without any problems, but it is also not signposted. There is something further to carry here. In itself, however, all the carrying points are not too cumbersome and also made for beginners like us. : D Footwear is recommended as it is often stony. In 1-2 places there was very little water on the river, so it had to be pushed. Nevertheless, a really recommendable tour. Those who value shade should definitely start early.

Probably the most unsightly tour of the entire climb. Mostly wide and dreary forest trails. Unnecessary loops to get kilometers together. The most beautiful detour was Neckarkatzenbach. The way there and much of it afterwards was something like driving a freeway.
