Mountaineering
On the 2,433 m high summit there are still the remains of the Helmhütte, which marks the end and beginning of the Carnic High Trail. It stretches 155 km long (9 refuges) through the main Carnic ridge. Remains of numerous military buildings from the 1915-1918 mountain war between Austrian and Italian troops can still be seen.
