A promising, easy to reach mountain and the first summit victory on the Carnic High Trail. Here you are perfectly attuned to the splendid panoramas of the next few days with a view of the Dolomites. In the vicinity of the summit there are also war ruins from the First World War, which showed its probably most grotesque side here in the form of an alpine war of position between Austria and Italy. This front line is also followed by the Carnic High Trail or the Via della Pace.

Once at the top, the Austria / Italian border runs. When the weather is nice, great vision.

Here, too, the story of the 1st and 2nd World War is present again. But what is absolutely rewarding for the effort of the ascent is the gigantic view.
