Mountain Biking Highlight
Rifugio Sennes spoils its guests, cyclists and hikers with traditional, down-to-earth South Tyrolean cuisine. Particularly popular and well-known are the "Sennes noodles" as well as the "Mountaineer omelet". Homely ambience, tasty dishes in the middle of the imposing mountains of the Dolomites. Highly recommended!

The Sennes Hut at 2,176 meters above sea level is easy for mountain bikers to reach from Cortina d'Ampezzo or St. Vigil in Enneberg. Both routes lead over old military roads and both the concrete and gravel ramp from the direction of Pederü and the steep gravel road from Val Saluta (Ra Stua hut) are challenges even for seasoned bikers. But the effort is worth it. The location of the hut on the Sennes plateau is fantastic. The hut hosts are super nice and the delicious typical South Tyrolean dishes are amazing! From the hut you can climb the peaks of Seekofel (2,810 m) or Muntejela de Sennes (2,787 m) with relatively little effort. Best in the morning rested and refreshed after an overnight stay at the Sennes hut.You can find information about the hut here: sennes.com

Such friendly people ready to help with everything. Besides of that, the location of this rifugio is amazing! The climbs to get there are brutal, but with awesome views. The rifugio has a locked cabin for bikes btw.
