The Grünwaldalm, or Malga foresta, is a "hut" above the Pragser Wildsee, which is easy to walk up to. It takes about 30 minutes from the lake, a little less by bike. You can eat well on the alpine pasture, but it is very crowded on weekends as many tourists find their way to the alpine pasture.

Mountain biking
The Grünwaldalm lies at an altitude of 1,580 meters. Starting from the Pragser Wildsee car park along the west coast of the lake, you come to the alpine hut. A wide gravel path is embedded in soft pasture mats and framed by high rock walls. The hut offers a small but fine daily menu consisting of delicious local and Italian dishes. You can take it very comfortably on the sun terrace.

The bear is also going on here on bad weather days.
The reason for this is probably only 2 km
short and beautiful path, slightly ascending from Lake Braies
and the good hut kitchen.
Very friendly service as recommended what more could you want.
