Hiking

The Sauturm or Wildbaderturm is named after the nearby Sausteige and was built from 1400 - 1405. The tower is a very rare example of an outside work with a spanking function and was used to defend against attacks from the Tauber Valley.

Via a wooden staircase you can climb the 4-storey tower up to the 3rd floor and from there continue on the stone bridge to the Zwinger and to the bastion the Turmweg tour towards Stöberleinsturm.
