In the Roman Museum you go on a short trip into the past of Schwarzenacker and the whole region. Here the former Roman settlement was rebuilt as an open-air museum. Buildings have been partially reconstructed, streets, sidewalks and sewers restored. This will give you a great impression of life here around 2,000 years ago. At the latest when you taste the fresh bread from the reconstructed bakery, you will feel transported back to the time of the Romans. The workshops and “hands-on activities” in particular are a great experience for the whole family.

    Opening hours:
High season: April to October daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Low season: November to March daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
