The "Meisenhalde", named after the forest department of the same name, is an old forest farm and has the reputation of being one of the most remote forest houses in the Palatinate Forest.
It was built in 1825 and has been inhabited by different generations of foresters ever since.
The owners have lived in the beautiful forester's house since 1982, which initially served us as a company residence and has been in our private property since 1997.
The main house was completely renovated by us in the years 1999 - 2002. We expanded the barn opposite in the years 2010-2011 with great care and attention and now offer our guests a stylish holiday home in a unique location as a holiday home. It offers the opportunity to relax and recuperate in harmony with nature. (Source: walderammlung-pfaelzerwald.de/forsthaus/)

What a wonderful and lovingly maintained forest house! A role model for many others!

A special place of idyll: private house and holiday home are next to each other: with a view of (horse) pastures and a wide view of the Palatinate Forest. There is a small bell on the former forester's lodge building.
For hikers, unfortunately, no place to rest or sit in this beautiful spot; and you will be chased away by attacking dogs...!
