Aussichtsturm Himmelsglück

One can look forward to the planned passenger elevator. In an emergency, it is intended to rescue a person with a stretcher and two helpers. Usually 20 people fit in the elevator. Five stops are planned.

With a final height of 55 m, the tallest observation tower in Germany constructed in this way is being built. The official opening is planned for spring 2021.

Schömberger observation tower "Himmelsglück" will become the highest wooden observation tower in Germany and is (as of December 2020) almost finished

It should be 55 meters high.
It will be the tallest wooden observation tower. Not just from Baden-Württemberg, but even from all of Germany.
The tower is not only built with local silver fir wood, but inside there are also 120 tons of galvanized steel, with the tower at 20, 35 and of course at the top at 55 meters each having a viewing platform with a wonderful view.
300 steps have to be conquered until one is at the top.
