Originally built in 1888-1891, the Tabor Chapel was rebuilt
rebuilt after a lightning strike in 1971.
The old foundations and outer walls were renovated and the almost completely destroyed tower was demolished. Instead of the tower, a massive, raised wall with a bell room was created. This makes them look very modern. A covered wooden terrace was built to the east.
The 360-degree view is magnificent and exceeds that of the summit cross. Comfortable benches on the outer walls invite you to enjoy!
