The richest clay deposits lay between Buchhorst and Feldheim. There was once a brickyard near the Zehnrutenweg, today the Mühlenbecker sound engraving testifies to the exhaustion of the material. The pottery was practiced for generations and supplied the local population with bricks, pots and bowls. As already mentioned, near the sound engraving was a brickyard. Here also the bricks for the Mühlenbecker church with the characteristic yellow color were burnt.

Very nice little pond. Definitely the highlight of the area. Unfortunately, it can only be reached via long stretches of road. But the very narrow path as a circular route around the pond is very inviting. There are one or two benches. There is currently a large tree across the path. You can get past it by bending down. Definitely not by bike. Some waterfowl can be observed. The east and west banks are a bit swampier.
