The Kaiser-Wilhelm-Höhe was built in 1888 by the Drachenfels Club on the occasion of the 90th birthday of Emperor Wilhelm I on a rock area known as Schöne Aussicht, 270 meters above sea level.

In the tower-like structure, a protective cave is embedded on the south side. To complete the system, a relief of the Emperor was added in 1898. This relief disappeared one day. In 2003, a new relief was made by a Dürkheim artist and reinstalled. At the beginning of 2004, a number of trees were cut on the west side, now you have from the tower height again a magnificent view of the Limburg.

Worth a visit.
