Berliner Eisenbahnfreunde e.V. Heidekrautbahn Museum

The Berliner Eisenbahnfreunde e.V. opened the museum on their premises in 2000. In several exhibition rooms you can learn exciting things about the history of rail travel, and you can also visit the entire outdoor area and the vehicle halls. The museum is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from April to the end of September. Visits are only possible as part of a guided tour. Would you like to enjoy the full rail experience? In the Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn AG depot, railway enthusiasts can experience historic rail vehicles, workshops and the history of the Heidekrautbahn on over 5,000 m². A very special attraction is a steam train ride. To enjoy a trip through the Barnim Nature Park, you have to reserve a seat in the lovingly restored carriage. Opening times (2023):
