Elbe Riverside Landscape Between Pevestorf and Schnackenburg

In the triangle between Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg.
In between the Elbe.

The Elbe and the meadow landscape on the banks of the Elbe between Pevestorf and Schnackenburg is really beautiful. The area is very quiet and there are some great sandy beaches. The cycle path from Pevestorf to Schnackenburg is well developed here, but unfortunately only on this section, because unfortunately there is no cycle path between Pevestorf and Langendorf that runs directly on the Elbdeich and after Schnackenburg there is only again after the state border, in Saxony- Stop on a "reasonable" Elbe cycle path, in between there is only a "sand and gravel road" (unless you accept a few detours, e.g. via the Stresower See and Wanzer). But no matter where you drive, the landscape is beautiful everywhere!

Both sides of the Elbe are very nice to drive. But I liked the right-hand stretch a lot better.
