Hüttenhohl is the starting point for Kalmit and Hohe Loog

At Hüttenhohl the forest line runs between Diedesfeld and Maikammer. Here used to be a major old road junction. Here also begins the hike to the rocky sea high to Kalmitgipfel.

Best parking for Felsenmeer and Kalmit. Located at 400m altitude.

Very nice trail from the Kalmit over the Felsenmeer, past the Hüttenhohlhütte to the hut hollow car park and on to the Totenkopfhütte.
