The Chocolate Museum in Cologne was a wonderful surprise for our grandchildren and for us too. The exhibition was very interesting and informative—the history of chocolate is vividly presented there, from the origins of cacao among the Maya and Aztecs to modern chocolate production...

We were particularly impressed by the glass chocolate factory, where you can watch chocolate being made firsthand. A highlight, of course, was the large chocolate fountain, where you could sample fresh chocolate.
