formerly also known as Rather-Mühle and Raderberger Mühle, was first published in 1319, where it was awarded to the von Brempt gentlemen for 12 Malter grain as a lease on land as the Dominal mill of the Jülich counts. In a document by the Duke of Jülich, the Radermühle was expressly declared a ban mill, so that all residents of Niederkrücht and Burgwaldniel had to grind in the mill up to the Waldniel church.
