The Radermühle is the oldest mill on the Lower Rhine. Finds indicate the Roman period. It was first mentioned in writing in 1317. It was a spell mill of the Duchy of Jülich. In 1807 she went into private ownership. Originally, grain was ground, later also beaten linseed oil.Since 1928 it is still lying unchanged until today. In the Third Reich it was located between two Reichsarbeitsdienst places within one of the most fortified positions of the west wall.Since 1986 it has been registered in the list of monuments as an "outstanding object of Lower Rhine architecture".
