The Hariksee has a water surface of approx. 20 ha and is approx. 8,000 to 12,000 years old. The lake, through which the Schwalm flows, received its current form through peat removal in the 17th century.

The Hariksee is always worth a trip, but a lot of people know this and it is accordingly full when the weather is nice.
On both sides of the lake there are localities where you can stop outside Corona. There is also a boat rental, mini golf, a very good ice cream parlor a few meters away.
At the moment another one is being built there (what does a kebab shop look like?) And should open shortly, this is on the side of the car park.
