Did a nice little bike tour - started from our spot on the Ardéche into the old village of Salavas, further to Vallon Pont d'Arc - worth seeing old town! - crossed the Ardéche now and then and returned.

Today we arrived in Peñiscola and immediately got on our bikes to ride along the beautiful coast.
The old town of Peñiscola is worth seeing, but since we had already explored it 3 years ago, we skipped it today.

Mittagessen - Trauung - Strand
Zum Mittagessen ging es heute ins Bergdorf Mojacar, auf dem Weg zum Strand erlebten wir eine Trauung auf den Klippen und weiter ging es zu unserer Badebucht. Die Wassertemperatur war ok, es war wie immer hier ab Mittag sehr stürmisch, dadurch gab es eine schöne Brandung.

For lunch today we went to the mountain village of Mojacar, on the way to the beach we experienced a wedding on the cliffs and then continued to our swimming bay. The water temperature was ok for swimming, it was as always here very stormy from noon, which resulted in beautiful surf.

Today we went back to the mountains, a little sightseeing of Carboneras and always climbing near the coast with great views.
What we saw frequently are half-finished and abandoned hotel fortresses on the coast, which are rotting away, see photo.

Since it has been cold (15 degrees) and rainy between Valencia and Alicante in recent days, we had enough and simply drove 330 km back south to Andalusia and found a nice pitch near the coast at Mojácar. We'll stay here for a few days and enjoy the warmth of 22 degrees.

Beautiful hike to Archez, past the "Free-Form-Bungalows" Casa Manemi, back above the Rio Turvilla, passed old ruined oil mills and had a delicious lunch in Canillas de Albaida.

Der Morgen fühlte sich vertraut an.

Nach den grauen, ungewissen Stunden von Montfort lag diesmal etwas Leichtes in der Luft. Kein Regen auf der Windschutzscheibe, kein zögernder Blick zum Himmel. Stattdessen dieses leise Versprechen: Frühling.

Today I did a slightly larger round, first over great cycle paths along the lake and then turned into the mountains, partly over country roads, but drivers kept sufficient distance. After a rapid descent, I came onto an old railway line that led along the lake to Annecy. Quite high temperatures today
