From our parking spot in Neudrossenfeld we went once to Trebgast (to eat fries) by the lake😉 and then back and continued over the Rote Main and railway tracks to Thurnau Castle.
The Rote Main joins the Weiße Main near Kulmbach to form the Main.

Short bike tour from our campsite on the Main near Staffelstein to Banz Monastery.
Lots of security forces there because of some CSU event, but we were still able to visit the outdoor area. For the evening, we stocked up on beers from the monastery vending machine.😉

In the most beautiful weather, we took the cable car up to the Hochmuth mountain station today.
On steep and narrow paths, we hiked to the Leiter Alm, where there were the typical delicious things like Kaiserschmarrn. Well fortified, we then went back to the cable car.
