The Roland School is a municipal elementary school in Perleberg, Brandenburg. The school building was opened in 1912 and is listed as a monument in the Brandenburg state monument list.
On June 4, 1998, the school was given the name "Roland School" in reference to the statue of Roland on the Great Market.

Here, the German Anglers' Association (DAFV), the Brandenburg State Anglers' Association (LAVB), the Institute for Inland Fisheries (IfB) and the Fario e.V. fly fishing club held an action day on the Stepenitz on June 8th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to a wealth of information, free posters were distributed, information was provided about the program for the reintroduction of endangered fish species and fly casting with one- and two-handed rods was demonstrated. On the magnetic board, visitors can test their knowledge of our native fish species and learn about nature and species conservation projects in dialogue. The banner "Did you know how big our fish can get?" clearly illustrated the diversity and real size of native fish. The IfB also exhibited a specimen of spawning salmon.
Only through the enthusiasm of the residents can we achieve a sustainable reintroduction of endangered fish species and the preservation or restoration of the Stepenitz as a unique natural area together!
We stayed here for about 30 minutes to gather information before continuing our hike along the Stepenitz.
