Hiking
The Gottfried-Arnold-Gymnasium in Perleberg was founded in 1991 and has been an open all-day school since 2005. In 2008 the school was awarded the title School without Racism – School with Courage. The educational institution is housed in two buildings, both of which are monuments. The school has a school choir, a support association and a school newspaper. The school also stands out for its democratic structures.
