Gelnhausen Old Town

In the entire old town one finds affectionately restored half-timbered buildings beside certificates of medieval architecture. Many small shops and restaurants "sweeten" the sightseeing of the city.

In addition, the Protestant St. Mary's Church, the Catholic Church of St. Peter, the former synagogue, the interior wooden gate and the Romanesque House are among the most notable buildings in the city.
