Lovely climb, very gradual and wide. A few too many tourists, so aim for late in the day.

On the subject of the highest pass: Tizi-n-Tirherhouzine is a significantly higher pass at around 2700m (it is asphalted throughout) and the Tizi n' Ouano is also significantly higher at around 2,900m, which is currently being expanded and should be completed in 2025/ It will also be completely asphalted by 2026.

If you drive the N9 from Marrakech to the south-east, Ouarzazate, you will automatically pass this place. This route is a must for every biker in Morocco. The higher you get to the High Atlas, the more breathtaking it gets. After about 100km, you will reach the pass Tizi n'Tichka, this is with 2260m the highest Morocco.
