Behind the town hall, on a traffic island, are the hook stalls, former trading and warehouses in half-timbered style or in clinker brick masonry. In the vernacular, the hook stalls are also called "Hökerbuden". In them, the artisans sold and represented their goods to customers. In the middle of these houses is the oldest house in Treuenbrietzen - the guild house.

Behind the town hall, on a traffic island, are the Hakenbuden (hook huts).
They are former trading and warehouse buildings, either half-timbered or built with clinker brickwork. Their construction dates back to the same period as the town hall. The Hakenbuden (hook huts) are also known locally as "Hökerbuden" (stalls). Craftsmen used them to sell and present their wares to customers. In the middle of these buildings stands Treuenbrietzen's oldest residential building – the Guild Hall.
