The water tower was built in 1910 as part of the construction of the first central drinking water network in the city of Treuenbrietzen.
It is 42 meters high. The technology was decommissioned in 2003. The still operational water tank is 5.75 meters high and has a diameter of five meters. It holds up to 100,000 liters of water.
