You reach the Brüdersteine via a few winding paths and steps. "The name "Brüdersteine" has nothing to do with "church services that the Bohemian Brethren are said to have held here", as the legend has it, but comes from the rocks that stand next to each other like brothers." View from the Brüdersteine: "A valley opens up in front of us, surrounded by rocks. The nearby mountain opposite is called Hohes Hölzig. Looking into the distance, we see the Teichstein in the middle, to the left of it we see Winterstein and Pechofenhörner, and above it the Kleiner Winterberg. The Hochhübel can be seen on the very left. To the right of the Teichstein, the mountain ridge stretches to the Heulenberg." - Hiking and nature guide Saxon Switzerland - Berg- & Naturverlag Rölke
