On our walk we stopped here and sweets were distributed. Tables and benches are available. The Jakobshäuschen was formerly an accommodation for the foresters and forest workers.

The original hut was about 500 meters from here and was leveled in the Third Reich for strategic reasons. The Siegfried Line ran a long way here.In 1956 this hut was built here. Training took place. With the construction of the forest hall in Schaidt, the importance is no longer so great today. Ideal as a resting place. With a scallop as a sign.
