Liebesgrund is the name of a park-like area on the Bardowicker Mauer. This wall is the last surviving piece of the old city wall. The pictures of me are autumn impressions.
You can go in by bike, you can circle it at the top and bottom. My tip: Once over the Bardowicker Mauer and back through the Liebesgrund.

In summer there is a playground for people and dogs, a sunbathing area to relax in and in winter, when there is snow, there is a toboggan run.

The Liebesgrund is a public green area in northern Lüneburg, which is bordered on the long sides by slopes. A nice place to walk, have a picnic or the like. The name seems to come naturally to me. Sometimes musical events, children's parties or garden exhibitions take place here. But that was not always the case, because originally the area was part of the mighty city wall, consisting of wall, rampart, wall and moat. The reason for love was the moat in front of the outer wall between the Bardowicker Tor and the bastion, hence the long depression.
