On the Mont Sujet (formerly the name Spitzberg was even more common than today) you are almost at eye level with the Chasseral - but with its 1,382m (to be exact) it is only almost. Although it is a bit smaller, it attracts fewer hikers. But it scores with a great panorama and an enjoyable altitude trail along the ridge.

Mountain biking

From Biel / Bienne towards Ried then towards Leubringen through the forest. Leubringen along the main road to Orvin. Use the old road - today the hiking trail - (runs south of the current, new road). As far as Les Prés d’Orvin, after the parking lot, turn left (second dirt road) towards the old ski lift, then follow the path up to the hill, on to Mont Sujet!
