On the left bank of the Lake Biel lies the historic winegrowing village of Twann. Vine growing has been practiced since the 12th century and fishing since the Neolithic period. The cozy wine village is the starting point for nice trips. Angled streets, old houses and fountains characterize the dreamy village and give it the character of a medieval town.
