Once you have passed the viaduct and have this view, you have just passed Herdecke and still have a short stretch along the Harkotsee to Wetter. In Herdecke, the Ruhr promenade has been beautifully redesigned and invites you to linger or to the Café Extrablatt. There are also cafés in Wetter until things continue quieter along the Ruhr.
