Not far from the terraces are the old villas in the typical yellow clinker brick architecture, including the house in the photo, where an optician is currently located. The former Ilse pharmacy is also beautiful to look at. The city harbor and Lake Ilse were completely flooded in 2019. It is planned to create a beach right next to the city harbor this year. Update 02/2020: The future bathing beach on Lake Ilse is currently being built on the right-hand side by the Großräschen city harbor. A new residential area is currently being developed above the future stretch of beach.
