The new cycle path on Großräschener See was officially opened in June 2021. It branches off from the Sedlitz-Senftenberg connection at the Reppist Seenland Oasis (seenland-oase.de) to the right of the former Kippen area. From there it goes over a small ascent to the "Reppister Höhe" near the former village of Sauno (once one of the northernmost wine-growing regions in Germany). The place Sauno had to give way to the opencast mine. A few field stones with inscriptions remind of the cemetery, which also fell victim to the brown coal opencast mining. From the bike path you have a beautiful view over the Großräschener See and look at the port of Großräschen, the vineyards and the pier. The entire cycle path around the Großräschener See is around 17 kilometers long.
