Tips
Always nice to see these block heaps with their faint lichen and moss growth... Larger vegetation is usually missing because hardly any substrate containing nutrients was deposited between the rocks

Both the "small stone sea" on Öchsenberg and the "large stone sea" on Dietrichsberg are impressive collections of basalt chunks, only covered with moss and lichen. When entering, however, you should be careful because many stones are loose or slip when you walk over them.
