Tyrstrup Church is perhaps better known as "The Church of Reunification", where King Christian X attended a prayer on July 10, 1920 after his famous ride across the border at Reunification.

The Tyrstrup Church was completed in 1863 as a replacement for a whitewashed Romanesque medieval church that was a few hundred meters east of the current church.

The arrival of the Brethren in town was a success for both the area and the parish church.

The population grew because the craftsmen who moved there encouraged work and the old church quickly became too small.

The Tyrstrup Church was designed by the architect and Kgl. Building inspector L. A. Winstrup created and is considered to be one of his main works.

The Tyrstrup Church (parish church of the Danish People's Church) belongs to the parish of Christiansfeld in Denmark and is located just outside the city center. This church is again different from many churches we have visited in Denmark so far. This church is much twisted with blue colors and the ceiling is made of very beautiful blue ornaments. Otherwise, this church is kept quite simple, there is no colored lead glazing.

is perhaps better known as "the Church of Reunification", where King Christian X took part in a prayer after his famous ride across the border at the reunification on July 10th 1920

But the arrival of the congregation in the town was a success for both the area and the parish church. The population grew because the moving craftsmen promoted their professional activity and the old church quickly became too small.
