The village originated in the Middle Ages as a fortified villa dependent on Todi. More important than Morre, it suffered serious losses in the 14th century due to the plague and suffered numerous looting. The Palazzo di Morre was purchased by the Paperini family in the 17th century and was transformed into the current building. The village is particularly silent and enjoys a beautiful view of the Tiber valley and the hills of Todi. There is a fountain and shaded benches to rest and admire the view.
