    Hiking

The village of Acqualoreto presents itself with an irresistible charm, as its narrow streets offer panoramic views of the evocative Umbrian landscape. The name of the village originates from the presence, in the past, of abundant water sources and laurel forests in the surrounding area.

Although the town is believed to have originated in the 10th century, some finds, including an urn preserved at the Baschi museum, suggest settlements even older than several centuries. Acqualoreto was part of the defensive network erected by Todi to protect itself from Orvieto, whose territory extended along the opposite bank of the Tiber.

    Hiking

The village of Acqualoreto is very suggestive because from the narrow streets you can see the panorama of the Umbrian territory. It takes its name from the abundance of water and the many laurel trees present in the surrounding area.
