The Mitterhof is probably the best-known farm in the Stiftland. The former Crangienhof (farm for self-sufficiency) of the monastery has been asleep for many years, but Kerstin and Matthias Frank and their family have been working on its revival for some time - among other things with the farm animal ark with ostriches and primal pigs, a farm shop with regional products, the farm café with coffee and cake as well as regular ostrich and pig dinners.
