The Dome of the Rock Rabenstein are a visitor mine, which was opened in 1936 after almost 650 years of operation. Since around 1365 lime mined in the former lime works Niederrabenstein where a beautiful labyrinth of tunnels and large caves (dome) was built on several soles. Inside are smaller stalagmites and stalactites, the lower soles are now flooded with crystal clear water and explored by cave divers. In winter, bats live in the rock dome.
