The Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary in Zell am Ebersberg belongs to the parish community of Knetzgau. In the 1970s, the existing church in need of renovation was demolished, only the church tower was preserved. A new modern church was built on the property: St. Maria Immaculata. Parts of the old church still exist in the tower area.
