Tips
A hike down into the Böhlgrund and along the natural Böhlbach offers the hiker a diverse flora, especially in spring. With a little luck, you can discover fire salamanders and jumping frogs in this sunny meadow valley. The Böhlbach has dug deeply between the slopes of the Large and Small Knetzberg on the left and the Beerberg on the right. It runs as an undeveloped natural flowing water about five kilometers through forests and meadows. It meanders freely in the valley floor and is fed by numerous tributaries, especially in spring.
