Tips
To the east of the small town of Tiefenellern lies the Eulenstein. The rock is also known as the Eulenwand and towers over the picturesque Ellertal in Franconian Tuscany. From up there, in clear weather, you can see as far as the Steigerwald, but also the sights of Bamberg and Altenburg.
