Until the turn of 1989 was here a base / radar post of the Soviet army.
From here you have a magnificent view of the Werratal with the places Hörschel, Neuenhof, Wartha and Göringen. As well as on Lauchröden Herleshausen and up to the "Kalimanscharo".
