Tips
The water tower stands on the site of the former Maria Anna Children's Hospital and is the last remaining water tower in Dresden from the end of the 19th century. Since Trachenberg and Carolahöhe were not incorporated into Dresden until 1897, a separate water tower was needed to supply water to the hospital grounds. It is of a certain technical and historical value and is now used as a residential building.
