The first Buddhist grave site in Saxony was consecrated on September 27, 2015.
Most of the approximately 125,000 Buddhists in Germany are Vietnamese. In the 1970s they came to the GDR as guest workers. After the fall of the Wall, many did not want to go back. Now the first Buddhist burial ground has been consecrated in Dresden, Saxony, Eastern Germany, but also in the neighboring Eastern European countries.
